Drawing as a thought in the Caribbean

​Art invites us to reflect from magical realism to the forms of thought in the Caribbean, which can be interpreted magically generating new knowledge. Thus we find in the archives and portulans that chroniclers reseñaban some facts drawing maps and landscapes in ink in order to have a real approach of the things they observed in this context. Thus, the drawing becomes the common thread that links the environment and man in geohistory, geopolitics, religion, ecology, aesthetics, and Visual Cultural Studies. We can say then that, drawing its own autonomy is the first way of thinking, remember for example that the human being stored encoded in the brain that allow you to reach the synapse to build ideas turned into cartoon images.

 

El dibujo como pensamiento en el Caribe 

El arte nos invita a reflexionar desde lo real maravilloso hacia las formas del pensamiento en el Caribe, las cuales pueden ser interpretadas mágicamente generando nuevo conocimiento. De este modo encontramos en los archivos históricos y en los portulanos que, los cronistas reseñaban algunos hechos dibujando mapas y paisajes en tinta con el fin de tener un acercamiento real de las cosas que observaban en este contexto. Así, el dibujo se convierte en el hilo conductor que articula el medio ambiente y el hombre en la geohistoria, la geopolítica, la religión, la ecología, la estética, los Estudios Culturales y Visuales. Se puede decir entonces que, el dibujo con su propia autonomía es la primera forma de pensamiento, recordemos por ejemplo que el ser humano guarda imágenes codificadas en el cerebro que le permiten llegar a la sinapsis para construir ideas convertidas en dibujos
